The paint that we use are based from rubber or synthetic resins: acrylic, epoxy, rubber. They have the particularities to have a waterproofing and elastic abilities. It will increase the pool life lenght and increase their capacity to resist to the freeze and unfreeze situations. It is recommended but not always to apply a primer before the pool painting, you have to check with our experts. Note that it can also be applied to polyester shells, after sanding and removal of the previous layer of paint.
A few conditions must be respected before starting the pool painting step. It is neccesary to make a deep clean of the pool to eliminate all germs (algae, etc.). It takes three steps :
– First, use a high pressure cleaner
– Then, clean the pool with chlorhydric acid (muriatic acid).
– Rinse the pool.
Now you can apply the pool painting. We recommend applying to layers of painting. Fill your pool only after a week.
