Entry level spa salt system is economical and simple to use. All you need is to add salt to the water to a concentration of 1800ppm, insert the Tubby electrolytic cell, and plug it into a 120V outlet. Adjustment of chlorine generation is via the controller located close to the plug. However, it is recommended and often necessary to add a dose of spa oxidant or spa shock treatment before or after (as you wish) each time you bathe in order to keep the spa water clean and balanced. Despite this, the Tubby salt system remains a very good entry level option.
