Opening a spa involves more than simply filling it. A complete inspection ensures that all components are working properly, the plumbing is connected correctly and there are no leaks.
On the selected date, a specially trained technician will come to your home to inspect, clean and prepare your spa. Depending on the package selected, we can also start the spa and perform the initial water balancing.
Your spa must be filled with water before we arrive so the technician can check that it is working properly. The water is then drained after the plumbing and system have been cleaned.

When should a spa be opened?
The opening can be scheduled once temperatures are mild enough and the risk of a significant freeze has passed. The ideal time depends on your installation and how your spa was closed.
Does my spa need to be filled before the visit?
Yes. With the Spa Standard package, the spa must be filled before the technician arrives so its operation can be checked. It will then be drained and will need to be filled again after the visit.
For the Spa Plus package, filling arrangements can be confirmed when scheduling the appointment.
Do you open all brands of spas?
Yes. Our technicians can work on various spa brands and configurations, including traditional spas, swim spas and certain in-ground spas.
Are water-balancing products included?
The products required for the initial balancing of pH, alkalinity and hardness, as well as scale prevention, are included in the Spa Plus package.
Is the spa ready to use after the visit?
With the Spa Plus package, the technician performs the filling, balancing and initial start-up. They will tell you when it is recommended to use your spa based on the water temperature and products added.
What happens if the technician detects a problem?
If an issue or visible problem is detected during the opening, the technician will let you know and can explain the recommended next steps.
