THE IMPORTANCE OF A GOOD CLEANING BEFORE YOUR SPA CLOSING
Is it important to clean your spa and the acrylic during its closing?
Prior your spa closure, it is suggested to do a good cleaning of the acrylic and of the inside and outside liner of the spa cover to prevent or lessen bacteria growth and/or stains. In addition, it will reduce the chance of rust in screws and jets and avoid discoloration of the acrylic.
If you decide to leave the acrylic or cover unwashed and/or to leave a dirty cartridge inside the spa, you could end up with nasty surprises in the spring. Moreover, it will take more chemicals to put your spa into operation during its opening.
