Pour éviter que le couvercle se brise sous le poids de la neige durant l'hiver, il lui faut apporter une aide, un support. Peu importe l'épaisseur du couvercle, de la neige mouillée peu abîmer voir défoncer le couvercle.

Le bloc de foam n'abîme pas le spa et est assez gros pour supporter les couvercles jusqu'à 96''x96''.
Il est aussi toujours conseillé de déneiger régulièrement le couvercle de spa durant l'hiver.
