• Clean your cartridges during the winter and store them until the next season
• Store accessories that were left outside inside or in an easily accessible place at the start of the next season
• Cut off the power supply to the spa from the house (main panel)
• Clear your spa cover regularly to prevent snow from accumulating on it. A snow brush is a good tool to use
• Make sure the spa cover stays in place at all times
• Observe your spa during the winter and report any unusual phenomena to your specialist at Piscines et Spas POSEIDON (for example, you hear noise coming from your spa, ice seems to be forming in the spa, the cover seems to be sagging, one side of the spa cover is removed)
• Never break the ice on the spa, you could damage the cover
• Do not walk on the spa during the winter
• Store chemicals and the water tester in a cool, dry place protected from bad weather and frost
• We cannot guarantee closure if we do not put the foam block inside and you do not use an opaque cover such as we sell. Water could enter through the seams of the cover and therefore damage the spa's piping
• When spring comes or as soon as the temperature allows, call Piscines et Spas POSEIDON to open your spa
