Maintenance of the spa filter cartridge
Remove the filter cartridge and ensure that no object falls into the cavity of the filter. They can cause obstructions to the movement of water. Every two weeks, the filter cartridge must be cleaned to remove the objects and particles that are lodged in the pleats of the cartridge. Using the water in the house or garden hose with a nozzle under pressure, will expell any trapped particles. If the cartridge is too dirty to be cleaned as described above, contact the Poseidon Pools and Spas for a replacement cartridge.
NOTE: Never use the spa without a filter cartridge!!!
NOTE: The filter cartridges should be replaced every six months. Compromised quality filter can seriously damage the pump of the spa: it will not be covered under warranty.
